 Worshiping Lord Siva People go to Lord Shiva temples and find Shiva Lingam inside. The Shiva Lingam is symbolic. The word LINGA means "symbol". ALINGATTVA LINGASYA PRAMANAM:  the formless state is represented  through this apparent from of Lingam. ALINGATTVA means "beyond any symbol or symbolism "----beyond  any identification. Since it is a symbol, it means to be beyond the symbol. Although it also appears like a form, it speaks  of the formless state. How can one be in this formless state of Divinity?  In the formless state of divine experience one is liberated,  and this is what is represented in the  SHIVA LINGAM.   In the Shiva Lingam there is both PRAKRITI  and PURUSHA together. There is Gouri Patta and Shiva Lingam together. The Base is Prakriti and the upper , elevated part is Purusha.  Both are present and united together. This creation is union of Prakriti and Purusha. The life of the human body is the union of the body...

MAHASIVARATRI !!! Hoy alabamos al Señor Siva, el Origen de la Yoga Es conocido el origen etimológico de la palabra YOGA en la raíz sánscrita YUG   (yugo). Así como el yugo de la yunta.  Este par de bueyes, elementos dadores de fuerza, están unidos unidos por el yugo donde se observa Siva; así como pituitaria y pineal en el yugo de la meditación forman el ajnia chakra,  ventana y puente a los reinos celestiales, camino hacia Maheswara, Yoga (unión del alma individual con el Alma Cósmica). Ese es el sendero de Kriya Yoga, transformación a través del YUG hasta Maheswara, Harihareswara.
